In the land of Tolria there resides freedom. For most of the land, their lives are their own, and they are their own masters. They may live as they wish and go where they want. However, there also resides chains and cages. Slaves that are forced to obey their masters and who have to live in fear every day of losing everything that they have. Some do manage to escape, however, the western lands are dangerous to those who are not wary, as slavers are abundant, and exceptionally large beasts roam the land, hunting for their next prey. It is a land where those who do not already live rarely travel to. A nation where even the magic below your feet is bound up and locked away, for there is no use for it here. This nation is known as Opreton, and a man, once a slave, now his own master, is returning.
His first stop is the town of Yesterday, a strange village that serves more as a tourist trap than as a real place to live.
