Every horse owner has to deal with this one way or another.
HOW you deal with it is crucial!
A horse has an excellent memory; this means they know how you made them feel and especially during times when they were scared.
Methods where the horses dignity is thrown in the trash by making and pushing them through their fears creates what appears to be a solution but usually is just a temporary measure.
Ones they DO NOT forget.
Understanding them as species and letting them know you will take care of their personal needs not only helps them become more confident in themselves but also in you.

They can and will remember how you make them feel SO the next time something happens they will have a better measure to trust you more ♥
