But the flow of the communication from the spirit gets blocked when thoughts and emotions aren’t expressed and handled appropriately. Where are the signals? What are the red flags? How do we know we’re off course or out of alignment? This last episode in our series on body energy centers gives the basic breakdown of the crown center, which is the very tip top of the head. The crown is the energy center within our bodies that is related to the awareness of our connection to the God. Located at the top of the head, the crown chakra is associated with the pituitary gland within the brain. Being connected in this center helps us to understand that we are a soul experiencing life through a body, but we are not just a body. Life is more than the tangible matter that we touch and see. It’s where we connect to inner wisdom, feel connected to others and life, and feel a sense of serenity and wholeness despite what’s happening around us. Living in stressful environments and fast paced lives, as well as unresolved trauma, disconnect us from the reality that exists beyond ourselves. The core issue is that we’re conditioned to believe that we aren’t already perfectly connected to God and His truth and perspective, as if He is withholding things from us until we "get it right". Life can tend to reinforce this belief if it’s the lens we are looking through. Using essential oils daily is a great way to relax our minds and bodies and remind us of our connection to our compassionate Creator. There isn’t a day that goes by we don’t need connection to truth and God’s presence. Our minds need that extra help so that we’re not just recycling our own thoughts and trying to squeeze wisdom out of it. Some essential oils you may use to connect to this awareness are Frankincense, Spikenard, Rose, Cedarwood, and Lavender. Apply to the top of the head, or try these uses. Suggested daily uses: Cedarwood and lavender- before bed, sweet dreams Frankincense in face moisturizer (great for skin and brain) When you’ve been busy and start to feel frantic and disconnected, push pause by diffusing this blend: 2 Vetiver and 3 spikenard (be ready to sloooooow down) When you’re coming up against major resistance to living in agreement with revelations of truth (feeling protected, guided, supported, loved, valued, abundant, powerful… or find yourself laser focused some pain or hurt, try this blend in a roller bottle over your heart. 3 drops frankincense, 1 drop helichrysum, 1 drop rose- this blend is for DEEEEEEP healing work, and resting in feelings of safety, and trust Free Guides- valpetty.com rootedinlove.co…

This episode gives the basic breakdown of the third eye center and its association with perception, intuition, imagination, wisdom, the ability to think and make decisions. This ability to see EVERYTHING clearly shifts our perspective, so we can see our own blind spots and understand ourselves in the context of the world around us. But in order to gain God’s perspective… or a kingdom/big picture perspective, we first have to see ourselves clearly! Some oils that help to stimulate the pineal gland in this center are... Clary Sage- emotional stability and clarity Hawaiian Sandalwood- feel grounded but connected to higher perspective Jasmine- stimulates senses Black Spruce- grounding for better connection Vetiver- a great one for when you’re wound really tight with anxious thoughts or to use before bedtime if you struggle with waking up throughout the night. You can apply any of these oils right to that third eye area between the brow, but make sure to dilute because that is sensitive skin. Think about how many important things happen in the throat area. You have the neck, the ears, the vagus nerve, the brain stem, thyroid, and so many lymphs and glands. The throat center is responsible for communication, the expression of thoughts, feelings, and ideas, a healthy internal dialogue, and striking a balance between speaking and listening, as well as the seeking and sharing of truth, social skills, and personal integrity and honor.
