When Owerwhelm Strikes - For Better or Worse Do you know the feeling of being completely overwhelmed? As if the world is crashing down on you with a tsunami of impressions, expectations, and tasks that seem impossible to handle? Overwhelm can creep in slowly or hit like a bolt of lightning. It can drain your energy, create restlessness, and make it hard to find peace. But overwhelm also has another side – a positive one. It’s that feeling that arises when something is so beautiful, moving, or meaningful that it’s almost too much to take in. A breathtaking sunset. A hug from someone you love. An unexpected gesture that touches your heart. When overwhelm becomes too much in a heavy way, it’s often due to pressure – too many demands, too many thoughts, too much happening at once. In those moments, it helps to pause, take a deep breath, and allow yourself to take one step at a time. No one can handle everything at once. When overwhelm is positive, it’s important to allow yourself to truly feel it. To linger in those moments when life feels grand and significant. Because those moments give energy and perspective. Whether overwhelm feels like a burden or a gift, it is a part of life. It’s not about avoiding it but about learning to navigate it. To find the balance between letting go and embracing.
