Christina Betancourt Johnson is CEO of Standard Wellness (SWM) which in April made history when it became the first cannabis company with a Black and Latino majority owner to win a cultivation license in the state of Maryland.
She is also the first Afro-Latina to run a licensed cultivation company in the United States.
Christina previously served as the Vice Chairman of the Board at CANMD (The Maryland Wholesale Medical Cannabis Association) and as the Founder and CEO of Rooted Therapeutics. She also served as the Executive Director of Conscious Capitalism, D.C. whose goal is to improve lives through business.
Christina's mission is to show how "people are the greatest asset of any business and that we should 'do well by doing good'. "
