Welcome Back! I am your host Dawn Simmons and on this episode of Conquering Our Unseen Enemies we are going to be talking about 5 steps you can take to overcome a spiritual attack.
Do you remember the last time you felt like you were under a spiritual attack and you just keep getting hit over and over no matter what you did. Well you are not alone. We all have these times in our lives. While sometimes we are going through challenges that aren’t necessarily a spiritual attack, these 5 steps we are going to discuss will serve you well and get you through your storm. No matter who you are, life is full of challenges and we need to be armed and ready to take on those challenges so that we come out of them stronger, more resilient and better able to discern how the Lord is guiding us through it.
5 steps you can take to overcome a spiritual attack
· 1 Peter 5:8 tells us “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

· 5 Steps to Overcome a Spiritual Attack
o 1. Put everything in perspective:
§ John 16:33, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

2. Don’t let the challenge be a distraction. Refocus:
§ Colossians 3:2,
§ 2 Corinthians 4:18,
o 3.Be more conscious of your time with the Lord:
§ Ephesians 6:18,

§ Romans 10:17,
o 4. Slow down and seek the Lord on your decisions
