So what is the menopause, how can you tell if you are going through it and what can you expect? This episode covers common symptoms, whether you need a blood test and whether you can stop contraception if you are getting these symptoms. I am an NHS GP without specialised menopause training but have based this podcast on the experiences of my patients and the NICE 2017 guidance amongst other resources.
