It has been a long couple weeks for NASCAR, as both the good and bad have occurred in the sport, and it all revolved around one man. Patti Rodisch and Dustin Parks will look back at the Bristol weekend, a race that honored Steve Byrnes and his battle against cancer, but then will turn to the Richmond weekend, the first weekend following the tragic passing of Byrnes on April 21. These two will look back at his greatest moments in the sport as a broadcaster, and how much he loved the sport. Byrnes is a fixture in the garage, and not having him around doing interviews or pit cycles will feel very different. But, as his final tweet pointed out before his passing, he "Went The Distance."
