On this episode, I explore the concept of dance as a tool for teaching and learning whitewater kayaking. Relaxation, fluidity, smoothness, loose hips, flexibility, athleticism... all things that have to do with BOTH dance and whitewater. With my classical background in ballet, tap, jazz, dance theater, modern, and my current experiences in expressive solo dance as well as partner dances of blues, fusion and swing I explain the similarities and possibilities of dance mixing with kayaking.
