Just talking about the need for me as the father to attend a hearing in Hillsborough County, FL, which is over 40 miles away, to terminate this "child support" case. The mother and the minor child both live in the foreign country of Greece. So there is not 1 single person involved in that case that still resides in that county, yet I have to attend a hearing to terminate an account that was started without me. I have been paying for certified payment history through the court system for many years now. I should be issued a full refund for all of them because they are not accurate at all. I would have no problem paying "Child Support" for the next month, but they send that money to the other parent right away, and she has a drug habit and the "Child Support" agency does not like to give money back to parents. They are very quick to take money but do not repay it quick at all. They swept my tax return by accident in 2016, and it took me over 3 months to get it back, and they did not want to return it to me. I got lucky, and a supervisor there helped me with that, I was very grateful if it was not for her, I probably would have never got anything back from them. I am looking at that check right now, it is for over $1700.00 too.
