We're back for Part II of our 30 lessons in 30 days, leading up to Coach Krysta's 30th birthday next month. This week, we're focused on fitness and nutrition lessons--surprise, surprise. Our favorite fitness and nutrition lessons we've learned in our 20s:
- buy the flowers, it changes your mood and lifts the vibes in your space; nature is grounding
- walking is one of the most underrated tools for fat loss (and will be a major focus inside of Thirty Days to Thriving)
- knowing that we don't live in a world designed for fat loss, it's important to get realistic with our expectations and timelines, and to build muscle so our bodies are more adaptable to food
- put your phone in do not disturb: not as many things are as urgent as we think they are, and eating without distraction does wonders on your digestion
- some kind of workout, no matter how short, is better than no workout at all
- sleep will always be more beneficial fat loss than a workout, so it's okay if you hit snooze when your body really needs rest
