In today's episode I talk to Alice Grist about tarot as a tool for intuition. Alice has a wonderful way of making tarot feel deeply accessible and talks to us about empowering others to read the cards for themselves. We talk about intuition as being in alignment with yourself and the crystallised truth of the self. we discuss the origins and history of tarot and tarot being a connection to a powerful symbolic understanding from before we had language. Alice asks to consider how intuition is whispering to you through the cards and gives us some ideas on different spreads that you can do with the cards.
About Alice:
Alice began her spiritual path in her teens and has explored continually through the grit of everyday life for thirty years. Her work makes spirituality and tarot accessible to modern people and empowers them to their own inner divinity and magic.
Alice Grist has six published books, spanning nearly two decades. Her most recent titles being; The Book of Tarot (Piatkus, Hachette 2020), Dirty and Divine (Womancraft Publishing 2015), and she worked with her young daughter to create Cosmic Mother Tarot - available on this site. Alice is excited to be the author and co-creator of Rebel Heart Tarot with artist Niki Cotton (published Dec 22 by Welbeck).
Alice hosts a vibrant learning community, 'Cosmic Sisterhood' where all Womxn are welcome to join and begin to explore spirituality and tarot with weekly lessons, live sessions and empowering workshops, with a focus on personal spiritual development.
