On this fourth episode of Release Ramble, I am joined by Hampshire-based solo acoustic artist and long-time fan of the page Charlie Smith. Following the release of his live Southampton Sessions back in December, Charlie discusses the cut-throat industry that is independent music, the weird and wonderful world of contemporary music streaming and gives a brief insight into the future of his work. From touring in North England to his upcoming double single, Charlie is as busy and as talented as independent artists come, and it was a pleasure to have him on the show.
