In an effort to reach a higher level of ourselves, we must sometimes go through processes that are not so easy: forgiveness of those who have wronged us. How do we do that when someone really offends us or hurts us? I will share quotes of prominent people in what they have to say about forgiveness. I will also explain how forgiveness is for you and not the person who made the offense. Sometimes it helps to understand that the other person who hurt you, may themselves be hurt. It is also important to get to the real reason for forgiveness, which is to find freedom and peace within yourself.
