Our personal narrative is the story we tell ourselves about our lives and experiences. It shapes our beliefs, attitudes, and actions. The stories we tell ourselves can be empowering or limiting, depending on the nature of our self-talk.
If a book was written about your life, what would it say? Would it be a story of triumphs and successes or one filled with regrets and missed opportunities? Our personal narrative is not set in stone; it can be rewritten or edited to reflect the person we want to become.
The thoughts we allow to dominate our minds become beliefs that inform our daily actions. If we constantly tell ourselves negative stories about our abilities or worthiness, it becomes challenging to achieve success or happiness.
