Amy Porterfield is an ex-corporate girl, author, online marketing expert, and the host of the top-ranked podcast Online Marketing Made Easy. Starting an online business so genuinely, drastically, and beautifully changed her life that she became obsessed with shouting how she built an 8-figure business with 50,000+ students, 49 million+ podcast downloads, and a 32-hour workweek from the freakin’ mountaintops. But the leap from overworked corporate yes-girl to leading a team of 20+ and helping thousands of entrepreneurs create lives they love didn’t happen overnight. That “leap” was a back-and-forth dance with plenty of humiliating failures and decisions. But, she says, it was the best decision of her life.

In this episode, Nada sits down with Amy to discuss why she left her corporate job, how she created her first course, and whether it was a success out of the gate. They discuss Amy’s current digital courses and how her platform is supporting so many women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s to take their experience and monetize it. Amy’s intention was never to be an entrepreneur; she just wanted the freedom she heard her former boss, Tony Robbins, preaching. Being her own boss was the goal. As it turns out, she now supports all those with the same goal by showing them exactly how to do it!
