BSL, also known as breed-specific legislation, is an ordinance that restricts ownership of certain identified breeds of dogs. And sadly, only 127 US cities and towns have repealed BSL.
Most of BSL does focus on the pit bull type dog. It doesn't focus on... responsible ownership or responsible ownership. It discriminates against responsible owners and dogs who might fit that breed bias.
BSL, we believe what is happening to pit bull-type dogs is not just an animal issue but very much a direct reflection of a broken society.
