We have a conversation with Rob and Jason about harvest moments in their lives and how the transformative work God by leading them to ministries. Rob shares how God has led him back to the very jail where he once served time, now as a minister of hope and salvation. Since September, the ministry has seen incredible fruit, including 83 men saved, 35 baptisms, and 18 women committing their lives to Christ with more awaiting baptism. In addition, 18 out of 23 juveniles in a detention center have given their lives to Jesus. Jason highlighted the importance of connection and fellowship, emphasizing the transformative power of gathering around a table. He mentioned David Bradshaw's upcoming Communion Table event in Washington, D.C., during the Feast of Tabernacles, which aims to draw people into a sense of unity and family. Jason also reflected on the digital age, pointing out that while social media often gets criticized, at its core, it reflects a deep human desire for connection—a modern way of seeking the same relational bonds experienced around a table. Have you ever looked at your life and wondered, ‘How did I get here?’ That’s exactly where Matt Cross found himself—until God stepped in. Matt’s story is one of heartbreak, struggle, and ultimately, incredible transformation through the grace of God. Growing up amidst his parents’ divorce, a young Matt (just 10 or 11 years old) dreamed of helping others one day. But life took a detour—by age 12, he was introduced to drugs, starting with weed, then cigarettes, and eventually drinking. By the time he graduated high school, he was making runs to Baltimore for cocaine. Yet in the midst of his darkest hours, one truth loomed large: God’s faithfulness doesn’t depend on ours. Through every relapse and wrong turn, God never gave up on Matt. Beneath the addictions and broken dreams was still that little boy on Interstate 81, wanting to help others. It took God’s unrelenting love and grace to bring that dream to life. Today, Matt Cross serves as an Associate Pastor at Path Church in Harrisonburg, VA and is a member of the Rockingham County School Board. His life is a testimony that no one is too far gone for God’s redemption.
