We are DONE with the DRAMA!

If you're like me, you care about what other people think. You want to make people happy and you don't like it when people are mad at you. But... you have someone, or some people, in your life that live for the drama. They're emotionally exhausting, they give you anxiety, their presence is literally so daunting that their dramatic personalities are felt by everyone as soon as they walk in the room. I get it. I know those people too.

I felt like I had been dealing with a lot of drama this year in particular and I decided to do some research of my own. I came across this fantastic article How To Avoid Other Peoples Drama written by Dr. Sharon Martin, and in this article she shares 8 strategies that will help you avoid other people's drama. Drama isn't something we can avoid forever, but we can decide how much of other people's drama we let into our lives, and we are responsible for maintaining how full our plate becomes.

Something we hit a lot on in this episode is BOUNDARIES too! Check out one of my recent episodes with my friend Katie Jang "Boundaries, Balance & Being True To Yourself" now!
