How would you rate your hiring process? Do you feel you consistently attract A-players who develop into outstanding team members? If you’re like most of us, the answer to that question is “no!” Dr. Mike Neal and his wife had the same issue and that’s why they created Build My Team – a hiring service that provides highly qualified candidates for hire in medical and dental practices throughout North America.

In this episode, we discuss:

· What motivated Dr. Neal and his wife to start Build My Team (BMT).

· How they systematized the hiring process to take the guesswork out of hiring.

· Why you should never communicate with a job applicant via email.

· Why it is neither necessary nor beneficial to look at an applicant’s resume.

· The “funnel approach” that BMT uses to attract dozens of applicants and narrow it down to present the practice with 2-3 outstanding candidates for the position.

· Why BMT uses a fixed-fee model for clients instead of a commission-based model.

· How Dr. Neal used BMT to decrease his total number of team members by 40% and more than double his practice’s net income in 2 years.
