Dr. Soph is a registered clinical psychologist and a Sunday Times best-selling author of the Manual for being human which is an incredible book.

This is such an interesting episode where you are going to learn why going to therapy and seeking to understand ourselves better isn’t selfish at all and how it actually helps those around us.

Dr Soph has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master's in neuroscience and a doctorate in clinical psychology, and is one of the few clinical psychologists in the world right now taking psychology out of the therapy room. After seeing the staggering decline of the nation’s mental health, she left behind her traditional role as a clinical psychologist in the NHS in order to provide more people with the access they need to have good mental health.
