This is a song I wrote and performed featuring Pit Bull the rapper back in 2003 when I was working on my then “Rap Career”.
I never quite made it in the music business. But I had a lot of fun, made a little money and had the pleasure of working with many great, successful and established artists.
I was even signed and paid as a writer for the late, great Isaac Hayes and went on tour with the latter version of the 2 Live Crew.
During this time I was using the alias “Jill Gates” for about a year and then went back to the name “Lois Lane”.
I am also featured on Trina’s first album, don’t number 5 “N**gas Ain’t Sh*t”, 2nd Verse. And I’m on a shoe that was released on Def Jam Records back in 1999, called Bounce.
One day, I’ll tell you some of those juicy “music business” stories on this podcast.
But for now, Take a Sip, and let me take you on a trip, with The Purple Koolaid Podcast and Lois Lane Miami.
