This week we are joined by Kenyora Parham, Executive Director of End Rape on Campus (EROC) to talk more about The Red Zone of Sexual Assault on college campuses.
"As we are coming off the heels of Covid-19, some schools are coming back from virtual learning to in-person learning...so what we fear is that the freshman class and untraditional sophomore classes are essentially coming together who have not undergone that in person college experience, which is going to attribute to the uptick of unwanted sexual assault. So we have actually named that The Double Red Zone for this year".
EROC (End Rape on Campus) works to end campus sexual violence through direct support for survivors and their communities; prevention through education; and policy reform at the campus, local, state, and federal levels.
