The WARP was very lucky to be joined by WA Trail running royalty this week, with Shane Johnstone and Claire O'Brien-Smith helping Matt cover another big week in WA running.

- Matt has his biggest week since August last year, relishing the cooler weekend temperatures with his best Tempo workout in a long while
- Training for the Kunanyi Mountain Run coming up in two weeks, Claire punches out her big final hitout of the block, a 50km run in the hills on Saturday
- Shane finds himself in Hospital at the start of the week, but finishes strong with plenty of km's over the weekend in prep for the upcoming Bibbulmun Track FKT.

Terrific news for Ky Hehir and Charli-Rose Carlyon, with their selection confirmed in the U/20's National Team for the 2024 World Athletics Cross Country Championships, which will be held in Belgrade, Serbia, on 30 March 2024.

In Japan, Lauren French comes 2nd overall in the Shizuoka Marathon, running a personal best of 2:44:40. Joel Crossing runs an amazing PB of 3:32:34.
