- Dan lifts his training and runs his first 100km week since Sept 2021, as he commits to @transcendtrails 65km Ultra in June.
- Matt drops the volume slightly as he sharpens up into the weekends WAMC Bridges 10km.
- Sinead gets out another week of jogging with her longest Sunday run in a while.
RESULTS:
The WAMC Perron Institute 2024 Bridges fun run took place on Sunday in perfect conditions. Sinead speak’s with winners Lauren French and Matt Smith shortly after they crossed the finish line. The 5k races are taken out by Dante Armstrong & Sian Munks.

Matt Ramsden snags an incredibly close & very impressive win in the mens 5,000m at the National Athletics Championships in Adelaide. Other notable performances from WA athletes include Charli-Rose Carlyon silver in the U/20 5,000m, Jesse Hunt bronze in the mens 1,500m & Peter Bol silver in the mens 800m - https://meets.rosterathletics.com/public/competitions/details/schedule?id=24438
Andy Lane flies the flag for WA at last weekend's Paris Marathon and several WA athletes compete at the Two Oceans Marathon in South Africa.
UPCOMING:
Some big Marathons in the coming weeks, with several WA athletes competing. Starting with the Manchester Marathon this evening (Sunday 14th), Boston Marathon tomorrow (Monday 15th), London Marathon next Sunday (21st April) & Hamburg Marathon in two weekends time (28th April).
