A home is a space where we want to feel free. There are thousands of interior designs that can please your eyes, but what about our comfort? Most of the time, we are deceived by what we see. Having a lovely but unsustainable home can leave us feeling disheartened and overwhelmed. To avoid that brokenness, we have Nic Scholtysik on the podcast to make us realize that you can create a lovely workable space without buying heaps of new stuff.

We will explore appreciating the genuine desire we have for more space. How cannot cluttering it with pretty stuff bring us more comfort and peace? Nic will provide us with a different approach to interior design that is centralized on what you need versus what you think looks good on screen. Join us to get the lowdown on creating your dream space by prioritizing your serenity.

Episode Highlights:

  • What is environmental psychology and what is the effect of well-designed space on our behavior?
  • How the actual clutter is the pretty but useless stuff on the shelves and not the things lying around that we use frequently
  • How the desire to achieve a perfect look lead can lead to increased anxiety
  • Why the model of designing space differently can lead to positive shifts in your children's behavior
  • How to start a passion project and end up saving time, space, and money
