PSP: 394: Can You Find Happiness While Your Child is Struggling with Anxiety or OCD?
Manage episode 452048120 series 2548252
Are you able to experience happiness while your child is struggling with anxiety or OCD? Do you feel guilty or tell yourself stories about your ability to be “happy” while your child is suffering?
Many of us tell ourselves things like, “we can’t be happy if our child is struggling with anxiety or OCD.” But is that actually true? And more importantly, is that belief even helpful?
In this week’s AT Parenting Survival Podcast I explore the idea of happiness, especially when the ones we care about the most are struggling.
