In this episode, host Holly Cotton and Dr. Tonia L. Farmer talk about her impact on social media while breaking barriers and practicing as an Otolaryngology Surgeon (ENT). Dr. Farmer answers some common questions about smoking, cancer links with HPV, being an advocate, disparities in minority communities and of course laughs.
Dr Farmer is the co-owner of the Lippy Group for ENT where she serves as Director of the Head and Neck Department and the Director of the Lippy Allergy Clinic. She also co-owns the Lippy Surgery Center. Dr. Farmer is currently an active medical staff member of Trumbull Memorial Hospital and served as past Department Chairman for ENT at St. Joseph Health Center, both in Warren, Ohio.
Being an entrepreneur at heart, Dr Farmer launched an e-commerce company, called Salt Me! Her company provides natural aromatherapy products. She also believes in educating others about good health and wellness in a clear, understandable way. She is a sought after speaker, educator, and social media influence a.k.a Dr. Nose Best.
