When you’re ready to shift from the edge of overachievement mode to embrace a little more lazy by accessing calm and self-compassion, it can be challenging to get our mind + body out of that high adrenaline state. For some, it’s extra hard because you know the quieting that comes with stillness can evoke feelings in your body that make you feel unsafe.
