Today, we have the honour to host Dr. Susan Kavaler-Adler. Dr Susan has been practicing psychoanalysis and psychotherapy in NYC for over 40 years. She is the Founding Director of the Objects Relations Institute for Psychotherapy and the author of numerous deep and insightful books,

We talked about a lot of very complex but important and topical issues, including:

- Why we might be holding ourselves back from success because of an unconscious fear of retaliation

- How parents who are 'too good' prevent us from growing up

- What actually makes a good childhood?

- Why do we need therapy at all, and can we heal our attachment wounds through other relationships?

- Can we be 'emotionally anorexic/bulimic'? Why do some people reject love?

- The difference between projection and projective identification (finally someone explains this!)
