Shanon’s middle name is resilience. From high school dropout to 6 figure earner and national achiever, she grew up through family dysfunction including multiple divorces. Alienation from her biological father, poverty, molestation, and teen pregnancy. A high school dropout faced with unwanted pregnancy her hard knocks weren’t over yet. She then went on to another decade of poor decisions, unhealthy relationships with people and money before she found God. With natural leadership skills and work ethic, she found it easy to earn money but managing her finances and emotions was the hard part. She wasn’t raised with financial responsibility. Thankfully, she ended up in a bank job and learned the skills needed to really succeed. Now finally self-sufficient as a business consultant, building a team of agents, launching an evangelism speaking ministry and publishing a co-authored book in the Overcoming Mediocrity series Spring of ‘22. Shanon truly loves people and helping them and has a wealth of information she freely shares with those in her sphere of influence.

Highlights:

06:39 There’s power in shame. If the evil one can keep you in that shame state where you’re afraid to talk about the things you did or were done to you then he wins.

09:55 If I learn and acknowledge the things that I did wrong, now I have something to change, to do better next time.

43:55 Different families have different philosophies about how they manage their money and you could see it in the family line.

50:59 What I learned through the failure of that Christian marriage was that there was no formula. I thought because I have the right to live, but I was choosing to fight for my marriage and therefore God, and that my marriage was going to be restored.
