152: “Too many hats,” Losing friends to suicide, The Overwatch Collective, and providing confidential help- w/ SWAT Motor Cop Greg Grogan
Manage episode 451489043 series 3539627
It is my pleasure not just to feature a selfless, busy AF first responder, veteran, serviceman, and caretaker of others: Greg Grogan. We chat about the grind of “doing it all” and personal struggles with boundaries and balance.
Greg shares about the genesis of The Overwatch Collective- a non-profit focused on providing critical, anonymous mental health services to first responders, military personnel and families in need. We talk about the growth and obstacles with the stigmas of mental health care and agency cultures, nonprofit challenges, and how to contribute to this amazing cause.
