Born and raised in London, Desiree Casimir started her career in the early 80’s in international Hotel Management, specialising in soft and grand openings of luxury properties both on the East and West coast of Australia and has since witnessed the evolution of her industry. After over 2 decades in predominantly Rooms Division, Guest Relations,Sales & Marketing and Executive Management roles, she moved into lecturing at university in International Hospitality Management for a number of years where she completed her MBA. She was then appointed by Mr Andre Cointreau as Regional Sales Manager to launch Le Cordon Bleu in Perth, Western Australia, one of the world’s most prestigious providers of culinary, hospitality and management education, founded in Paris in 1895.
Now, as a Jay Shetty Certified Life Coach and Yoga Instructor, gaining insight through years of self-study in the development of self-awareness, self actualization, equanimity, empathy and authentic communication, she is committed to the service of others, combining her formal qualifications with the life skills acquired as a working single parent and an overall life survivor!
