Pod Rewind: Maybe The Problem Is You Can't Tolerate Peace
Manage episode 440597856 series 3370581
In Episode 115 of DON’T LIE TO YOUR LIFE COACH, Life Coach and Host Kim Arrington is asking you to think honestly about your relationship to peace. She's sharing a fateful story about how being trapped on a pier by a snake can be a metaphor for how you view peace. Sometimes we think the problem is other things, but it's really our inability to allow the benefits of peace in our life. If you grew up in chaos, sometimes we seek the same in our adult lives--and don't even know it. Sometimes you'll make abrupt changes to bring back the familiar in your life--even if it's unhealthy. This episode is for you if you want to take steps to get more acquainted with the ease of a harmonious life. If you're not used to peace, it can initially feel boring or unsettling. With awareness and different action, change is possible. New habits, new life! Hey, you can even overdo peace if you do too much. Sometimes it's in the small moments. Peace is everywhere. You just have to look for it. Do less to gain more. Slow it down. The only thing standing between you and a life you love--the next best decision. Peace is always available and waiting on you!
