Here on The Change we discuss The Great Resignation often. It’s a real thing: a factor every business owner should pay close attention to, if they aren’t already. Because more than anything, the trends we are seeing with The Great Resignation are a reflection of how people are making decisions today regarding their careers. I’ve often wondered if The Great Resignation would have occurred without the pandemic. Part of me thinks this trend was inevitable, but that the pandemic turbo-charged its acceleration. Whatever the cause, one thing is for certain: business will forever be changed; this isn’t some temporary event that will go away. People want real and meaningful change with respect to their professional lives.
